To make things looks more interesting, I’ve added sprites and animation to the game.
The cat asset is modified from 2D Pixel Art Cat Sprites while the rests are made by myself using the free version of Pixel Studio.
To make the props fall from the table/shelf, I’ve added a new layer called “FellProp” which doesn’t collide with the default layer(table/shelf/chair) but collides with the ground. Once it touches the ground, the prop will play a break animation.
I’ve also made the props to rotate when falling, and reset the rotation once it touches the ground.
The next step will be implementing enemies (humans) that are trying to catch the cat to stop it from generating chaos.
